Scout Mulching Work Day At Lake Conestee Nature Preserve
Sat. -JULY 11th at 8:30 am to 12 Noon-Boy Scouts Work Project
Parents drop off Scouts at Lake Conestee Nature Preserve Office at 601 Fork Shoals Road, Greenville, SC at 8:30am and pick them up at 12pm Noon

Covid-19 precautions in affect, siblings work in same area, face masks and (6) work areas for social distancing
Mulch (6) areas in Group area at Lake Conestee Nature Preserve:
1. Group Shelter
2. 2 picnic table areas
3. 3 Group activies under the trees
Things Scouts Should Bring:
1. Shovel to spread the mulch, the park has only 10 shovels (older scouts can bring pitch fork for spreading)
2. Water bottle (with water in it)
3. Gloves-protect hands from blisters
4. Face Mask-please bring
As an added bonus we will discuss the GeoCashing App. (free) You can download on your Iphone or Android Phone that can be used to find Geocash’s in the Preserve and around Greenville. If time permits we will demonstrate how to place a GeoCash for others to find.
